Home Meet vs. Auburn Riverside & Decatur, Nolte State Park Course (5k)

Meet Highlights:
• In nearly perfect conditions on this Wednesday afternoon, the Hornets continued NPSL dual meet competition at our home course in and around Nolte State Park. A special thank you to the State Parks Staff for making us feel welcome and helping us offer a more engaging and enriching experience to our athletes.
• We would also like to thank all the parents, ESD Staff and community members who made the drive out to Deep Lake to cheer on the Hornets. The spectators were fantastic! A tribute to our community that consistently shows up to support the athletes at all Hornets contests.
• The Lady Hornets ended this double dual meet with two narrow losses to formidable Gator and Raven teams. The Boys team chalked up two wins against Decatur and Auburn Riverside, continuing the strong team form shown over the last few weeks.
• Payton Roberson, Natasha Puzon, Megan Ogburn and Kristen Dickson all showed strong potential on the Deep Lake loop this week.
• The boys were lead by team captain Sam Lingwall, followed closely by Dominic Deady and Jacob Dickson. Seth Coons, Kyle Revell, Foster Barnhart and Aiden Madill rounded out the varsity squad on the boy’s side.
