Good Morning Hornets. Congratulations to the Hornet boys swim and dive team for their resounding wins over Auburn Mountainview and Decatur to start the season. A big hoorah to the gymnastics team for scoring 142 points as a team and beating both Thomas Jefferson and Kent Meridian. Congrats to the boys basketball team for opening up League play with a couple of big road wins over Todd Beamer and perennial rival Auburn. A big yeeha to the boys wrestling team for winning the Decatur Invite over the weekend led by champions Austin Rewoldt, Quinton Southcott, and Aiden Carroll. A big way to go to the girls wrestling team who placed three wrestlers at the Centralia Tiger Classic led by Kenzie Cormier who was a champion and received the most outstanding wrestler award for the second straight week. Highlight game of the week is Senior Night for Gymnastics this Wednesday. Be sure to cheer them on to success starting at 6:30 PM at Peak Gymnastics located just behind Les Schwab in Enumclaw. And Finally, a huge celebration of thanks to our EHS Choir and Band and Orchestra programs for treating us to an awesome celebration of excellence both in performance and spirit this year at the Winter Concerts.
