Good Morning Hornets. This is your midweek sports report. Congratulations to all of our Hornet Athletes who competed last weekend in the State Tournaments. The overall performances were outstanding. In tennis Kylie Rademacher and Mariah Bone brought home 5th place for the Hornets. In Water Polo our girls earned a hard fought 7th place finish. In boys track Connery McLaughlin battled to a 5th place finish in the Javelin and Jeremy Watts finished 7th in the Pole Vault.  In Fastpitch the Hornets had an incredible run to the Championship game and brought home the 2nd place State Trophy. In Girls track we were crowned State Champions in the 4x100 relay and in the 4x400 relay. If you are sitting by one of the following athletes be sure to give them a high five for their Championship performance:

Girls 4x100 Relay Team: Taylor Tandecki, Josie Neu, Nikole Schroeder, Taliah Olson, Sarah Meeker (Alternate), Juliana Brown (Alternate)

Girls 4x400 Relay Team:  Taylor Tandecki, Josie Neu, Aleea Gwerder, Taliah Olson, Payton Roberson (Alternate), Sarah Meeker (Alternate)

As we sign off for another year we want to encourage any student who has not yet turned out for a sport to give it a try next year.
