Good Morning Hornets. This is your midweek sports report. Congratulations to the girls basketball team on their resounding win over Auburn last night 53-29. Congratulations to the boys basketball team on their exciting win over Auburn as well 73-67. Congratulations to the boys wrestling team who beat Sumner 38-32 and remain undefeated in League. Congratulations to the boys swim and dive team who beat Lakes 110-76 and remain undefeated in League play as well.  Congratulations to the Hornet Competitive Cheer team who recently qualified for State Competition. Congratulations to our Gymnastics team who beat three SPSL opponents in their most recent meet at Decatur.  The game of the week is Boys wrestling on Thursday.  Make plans to come out and cheer on the Hornets to victory and celebrate our seniors in their last home match.  Be sure to also come out on Friday night for the EHS Hall of Fame Game when our Hornets put on their historical tiger jerseys and take on Auburn Riverside in a match up that pits two teams battling for playoff spots.  You won't want to miss the historic ceremony at halftime along with cake following the event.
