EHS XC Meet Results 2016

NPSL Sub-District Championships, Ft. Steilacoom Park, Lakewood, WA

Meet Highlights:

• Both the boys and girls Hornet Cross Country Teams ran strong races on the 5k Course at Fort Steilacoom Park. Both squads were able to advance to the West Central District Championships next week at American Lake Veterans Golf Course.


• The Lady Hornets finished 3^rd overall on their way to winning the NPSL Olympic Division Championship, fighting off outstanding teams from Federal Way, Thomas Jefferson and Kennedy Catholic.


• Hunter Storm ran to a 5^th place overall finish, 1^st place among Olympic division athletes, on the way to earning NPSL Olympic Division Athlete of the Year and earning first team all league status.


• Payton Roberson finished 20^th overall while posting a personal best time and earning first team all league status.


• Anna Bursch chalked up a personal best mark and earned second team all league honors.


• Chayce Weiman posted a season best time and was honored as a second team all league athlete


• The Boys XC team place 6^th overall in the NPSL Sub-District meet, advancing the team to the Westside Classic next weekend at American Lake Golf Course.


• Teagan Eldridge ran home in 10^th position earning first team all league honors


• Alec Ritter broke the tape in 30^th place securing second team all league status
